Feed State

This page is home to an open source tool called Feed State, a tool for collating and processing messages from many different feed sources.

Feed State is used to read, filter and be notified of changes to log files for any process. Messages are read from the file/feed source and parsed into a common message format, enabling different segments of a log file to be turned into different kinds of data (integers, booleans, dates, strings and many more). Data can be viewed directly or stored in a database for later analysis. All regular log files are supported, as are XML files and database tables. As these sources are updated, they are passed on to the different views and alerts raised when given conditions are met.
